Sperre Støperi AS has its own design and construction department which offers expertise and service in design, processing, shaping and pattern making. In 1994, the foundry opened a modern pattern-making shop. The premises were extended further in 1998. The new premises include facilities for casting and copying plastic patterns, as well as a new pattern store for both the ferrous and the non-ferrous foundry.
