Some say original parts are too expensive. But on a ship at sea, the hidden costs of non-genuine parts in essential equipment can be higher than anyone had bargained for. With the high pressure at work in starting-air compressors, safety and reliable operation are key factors. At Sperre we refuse to compromise on our stringent quality standards. Case Gasket
This gasket is used between a compressor valve and the cylinder head. It stops compressed air from leaking out. Even more important, it provides a seal between the intake and the delivery side of the compressor.

The aluminium alloy used for the pitons has exceptional strength, anti-friction properties and resistance to wear at high temperatures

Our 48-hour guarantee
We introduced this service concept in 1958. It is a promise that we have kept for more than 40 years. It makes no difference whether your compressor is 4 or 40 years old. Any Sperre customer can confirm this. It is the focus of our entire logistics function. Our 48-hour guarantee also applies to complete compressors - we keep these in stock at all of our three warehouses.

Serial number / traceability
The serial number is the unique identifier of your compressor. We know exactly which compressor model you have when we receive the serial number. A part number may refer to several models. For this reason, it is essential to specify the serial number so that we can fulfil our service promise to you.

Availability
Every part for every one of our compressor models is available at all times. All after-sales offers are Sperre's responsibility, so we recommend that customers contact one of our offices directly. Our head office is in Ålesund, Norway, and the other offices are in Rotterdam and Singapore. Our agent network will also be happy to answer your questions and put you in touch with us.

Infrastructure
Sperre Industri AS, our head office, is located just 15 – 30 minutes from our partners working with despatch. Here, we have full access to freight by road, sea or air, as well as parcel post and courier service. Seven or eight flights leave here every day. An order is ready for despatch within an hour or two. Please inform us of the destination as soon as possible, so that we can choose the lowest-cost alternative for getting your parts to you by the deadline that you specify.
