A dedicated team
Mareno K. Nakken, Managing Director R&D, leads a highly skilled, experienced and motivated team. For the past 6 years, their only mission has been the development of the future compressors for Sperre. The team has developed a completely new family of compressors, expanding the range with a new concept at the forefront of production friendly design. An important part of the project has been the thorough and iterative testing of different solutions. The final product, including several patented solutions, results in compressors far ahead of established solutions in today’s market.

Why not outsource?
The dilemma: To design an outstanding new Sperre compressor, you need to work in peace undisturbed by the always-urgent everyday interruptions. At the same time, insight into this day-to-day business is part of the secret of exceptional compressor design. We solved this by giving our development staff their own premises organized in a separate subsidiary – but right next door to our operating staff.
